Meridian Para-Educator

ESU13 is now accepting applications for a Meridian Para-Educator.  This individual provides classroom support to the classroom teacher in providing learning opportunities for our Meridian students.  Additional responsibilities may include obtaining a small bus driving license and swimming as part of a physical education curriculum. A high school diploma is a requirement and previous experience in working with children with special needs is preferred.  This position will begin in August of 2018.  If interested, please submit an application, resume, and letter of interest to Jerry Becking at (jbecking@esu13.org)

Therapist/Psychologist

ESU13 is now taking applications for a Therapist/or LDAC.  We can hire multiple part-time therapist that are looking to add to their case load.  This position is contracted hourly for intensive outpatient services IOP.  This position would require some travel as students would be worked with at schools within the Panhandle of Nebraska.  If interested, please complete the ESU13 job application, a resume, and return them to Jerry Becking at (jbecking@esu13.org)

Head Start Teacher Assistant - Scottsbluff

The Head Start Teacher Assistant works to provide support for the classroom teacher.  Working in  a preschool setting, the teacher assistant will work with students individually and in small group to assist in the academic growth for students.  Interested individuals should contact Jerry Becking at (jbecking@esu13.org).

Panhandle Early Learning Connections Coordinator

ESU 13 is seeking applicants for the Panhandle Early Learning Connections Coordinator. The position is one of 7 regional positions funded by a grant ESU 13 receives from the Nebraska Department of Education. Duties include but are not limited to the coordination of professional development opportunities for the 11 counties of the Panhandle, manage and support the work of training professionals, participating in the organization of 2 regional Early Childhood conferences, and support the overall growth of the early childhood workforce in the Panhandle. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an EC profession. Experience managing grants, creating newsletters, flyers, and maintaining a website is preferred, but not required. Head Start Education Coach/Supervisor

ESU13 is seeking applicants for the Head Start Education Coach/Supervisor in Scottsbluff.  This position insures the education objectives for Head Start/Early Head Start are in accordance with the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children, Youth and Families (ACYF) Head Start Performance Standards and state licensing as applicable. A B.A/B.S. degree or higher, in early Childhood Education or a related field with at least 30 semester hours in Early Childhood.  Interested individuals should send a letter of interest, resume, and ESU13 job application to Jerry Becking (jbecking@esu13.org)

EDN Services Coordinator

Educational Service Unit 13 is adding to our Early Development Network (EDN) team!  We are looking for a full-time Services Coordinator to serve families in Scotts Bluff and Banner Counties.  The EDN Services Coordinator (SC) serves as the central contact person for families with developmental concerns about infants and toddlers below age 3.  Once identified,  the SC supports families of children with disabilities in the coordination of early intervention and in accessing community-based services.

Minimum qualifications include: 2 years of college in a social service related field, two years of experience in a social services role or a combination of the two that equal a minimum of 2 years.  Any experience working with families of young children will be given priority.  Interested individuals should send a Letter of Interest, resume, and ESU13 Job Application to Jerry Becking (jbecking@esu13.org)

 

School Mental Health Provider

ESU13 is currently looking for a School Mental Health Provider to work within the Chadron Public School System.  Responsibilities include Screening, Counseling, and consultation services.  Applicants must have an Advanced Degree, A valid Nebraska Mental Health Provider License, and at least 2 years experience required.  Interested individuals should send a Letter of Interest, ESU13 Job Application, and Resume to Jerry Becking (jbecking@esu13.org).

 AWARE Project Manager

ESU13 is currently looking for a person to fill the position of AWARE Project Manager.  This position is responsible for coordination services for, program development of and manage recourses to meet GRANT goals as related to mental health program development and the expansion of services delivery.  Bachelor’s degree in related field required.  Master’s Degree preferred in Mental Health/Behavioral Health.  Interested individuals should send a Letter of Interest, ESU13 Job Application, and Resume to Jerry Becking (jbecking@esu13.org)

ESU #13’s LifeLink School is taking applications for substitute Job Coaches for the 2018-19 school year. This position is an "on call" basis. No certification is needed.
