Meridian Special Education Teacher

The Meridian Teacher delivers special education and related services to students in an educational setting. This position has a 185 day contract with salary determined by the ESU 13 Board of Education. The salary schedule is based on education and experience.  Applicants must have, or be able to get,  a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Special education.  If interested, please send an ESU 13 job application, your resume, and background checks to Jerry Becking at (jbecking@esu13.org).

Teacher for Deaf or Hard of Hearing

The teacher of deaf or hard of hearing shall be responsible for providing services to deaf and hard of hearing students in the Western Panhandle of Nebraska.  Applicants must have, or be able to get, a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in deaf education.  If interested, please send an ESU 13 job application, resume, and background check information to Jerry Becking (jbecking@esu13.org).

Secondary Transition Specialist

 

The Secondary Transition Specialist is responsible for collaborating with community agencies and providing technical assistance to member schools in the area of secondary transition services for students with disabilities. VALTS Science Teacher, 2018-19

ESU13 is now taking applications for an Alternative School, High School Science Teacher. The applicant must have a Nebraska Teaching Certificate and must be certified to teach in the State of Nebraska by August of 2018.  If interested please complete the ESU13 job application, a resume, and send these to Jerry Becking, HR Coordinator at (jbecking@esu13.org) 

Therapist/Psychologist

ESU13 is now taking applications for a Therapist/or LDAC.  We can hire multiple part-time therapist that are looking to add to their case load.  This position is contracted hourly for intensive outpatient services IOP.  This position would require some travel as students would be worked with at schools within the Panhandle of Nebraska.  If interested, please complete the ESU13 job application, a resume, and return them to Jerry Becking at (jbecking@esu13.org)

School Nurse/Health Coordinator

ESU13 is looking for a School Nurse/Health Coordinator to serve our Meridian, LifeLink-Nebraska and VALTS student programs.  Duties will include: caring for medical fragile students, including G-tube feeding, medication management, development and implementation of Individual Emergency Health Plans, coordination of medical emergency responses, routine school medical management of student illness and provide information to students on healthy life styles. Substitute Job Coaches for the 2017-18 school year

ESU #13’s LifeLink School is taking applications for substitute Job Coaches for the 2016-17 school year. This position is an "on call" basis. No certification is needed.
