LifeLink Kicks off 10 Year Anniversary Celebration!!!!
LifeLink kicked off the 10 year anniversary celebration with a parent and student meal and game night. The evening event was planned by the LifeLink students with support from teachers.
Students prepared the “spaghetti feed” meal with the help of Peggy Coulter, RPAD instructor, and helped serve their parents and family members. Led by Bill Moore, LifeLink Teacher, the event consisted of a student created Kahoot trivia game and board games. Parents volunteers will join the youth in planning fun, entertaining activities for the school year.
LifeLink, ESU 13’s 18-21 program, is located at the HARMS center on the WNCC campus. Students work on developing life skills in an apartment and classroom setting. Community visits and experiences are planned to allow students to experience different resources and agencies in their community. Several students attend WNCC as college students, attending classes that meet their area of interest. This year marks the 10th year of operation for the ESU 13 program. Over 100 students have graduated from the program!
