Eligibility Criteria
Migratory Child
The child in younger than age 22, the child is eligible for a free public education under state law
made a qualifying move on own or with a migratory worker within the preceding 36 months.
Migratory Worker
A parent, guardian, or student that has made a qualifying move within the preceding 35 months
and engaged in new qualifying work soon after move
or
actively sough qualifying work soon after move and has recent history of moved (two or more).
Qualifying Move
Change of residence and move is due to economic necessity and move is from one school district to another school district
Qualifying Work
Work that is Temporary or Seasonal and work is in Agriculutual or Fishing industries
*Race, ethnicity or income are not factors in qualifying for Title 1C Program.

Qualifying Agricultural Work
Planting, cultivating or harvesting seasonal crops
Temporary farm /feedlot workers
Cultivating, fertilizing, soil preparation
Processing raw agricultural products (meat packing, potato sheds, raw beet, and bean processing)
Livestock or ranching
Meatpacking
Potato work
Field and Vineyard Work….and much more!
